Erin Chambers (Rochelle Aytes) is an up-and-coming professional government person in Brooklyn, Colorado—which makes sense considering her dad is the mayor! But Brooklyn has a problem: they gotta get some tourism dollars or the town is going to start facing some serious cuts. There are already cuts at the fire department! Erin’s big idea: cap off the town’s usual Christmas festivities with a big tree lighting ceremony, a real Rockefeller Center-style affair that will get lots of attention and turn Brooklyn into a holiday destination for people all across Colorado.
